Beacon Resources LA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Interim) for our client based out of Burbank on an interim basis.

Job Description – The hired Senior Financial Analyst (Interim) will perform a mix and finance and accounting duties.

Job Site Status (Remote/Mixed/Onsite) – Our client has a hybrid schedule (two days/week).

Compensation/Benefits– Hourly compensation starts from $50/hour and increases depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST (INTERIM)

Accounting

• Close month-end accounting books
• Review trial balance
• Generate financial reports
• Input account reconciliations
• Input journal entries
• Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals
• Provide participations audit support to outside parties
• Assist in financial modeling and budgeting on a monthly and a quarterly basis
• Accept other ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as needed

Finance

• Prepare budgets
• Monitor expenditures

Systems

• Ensure that all SAP modules are running smoothly and property tracking all accounting and finance processes
• Assist in any software upgrades

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST (INTERIM)

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or work equivalence
• At least five (5) years of accounting and finance experience
• Prior employment at an entertainment company
• Skilled at managing governance structures, define process improvement opportunities, system improvements and organizational alignment to achieve centralization
• Expert in designing technology, data, and business processes
• Ability to translate business challenges into solutions and process improvements
• Successful project and team management leadership

Preferred

• Previous background as a manager and/or Senior Manager level finance within large global companies
• Strong understanding of GAAP

SKILLS OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST (INTERIM)

Required

Technical

• Experience working with SAP G/L accounting programs
• Expert-level MS Excel skill set (v-lookups, pivot tables, IF formulas)

Interpersonal

• Ability to work well with minimal supervision
• Superior communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
