Senior HR Business Partner - Temporary Job at Ranger Oil Corporation
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources and located in our Houston office will be responsible for providing general human resources support to all company locations. Focus will be on updating and writing company policies, process improvement, and coaching managers on employee relations issues. This is an in-office position and will work a 9/80 schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Update old policies and draft new policies and guide them through approval process.
- Identify and propose plans to improve organizational processes.
- Consult with employees and manager in other departments to drive continuous improvement and obtain organization goals.
- Assist with processing payroll and identify ways to improve payroll processing.
- Work to ensure all practices comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Use HRIS to write reports, research employee information, and research HRIS capabilities to improve system utilization.
- Assist with the document management program.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Generalist HR certification
- A minimum of 10 years Human Resource experience, OD experience would be plus
- Demonstrated experience using an HRIS to manage employees and write related reports
- Experience with UltiPro/UKG strongly preferred
- Experience with upstream oil and gas preferred but not required
- Experience developing and delivering training
- Experience writing and updating company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
