Senior Marketing Statistical Analyst (Remote) Job at Permanent General Assurance Corp.
This role has responsibilities to assist in the design, analysis, interpretation, and documentation of Test and Learns within Marketing, Revenue Optimization and Analytics, and other areas of the company. The role will also work closely with the company’s data science team, on novel modeling approaches and statistical techniques, to create predictive models to support the objectives of the marketing department, inform business decisions and drive positive change through advice and recommendations. The requirement will also include effectively and persuasively presenting statistical concepts and arguments to Leadership, technical and non-technical audiences, both internally and externally.
Compensation Minimum:$103,100.00 Annual
Compensation Maximum:$154,700.00 Annual

Essential Functions

Collect, process, manipulate, and investigate large and complex datasets

Engage in the ongoing measurement of marketing tactics, reach, and decay, leveraging multiple approaches as necessary to triangulate results in more complex environments as a result of tactical interactivity

Leverage advanced analytics to iteratively improve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts

Be responsible for conceiving and executing experiments to qualify new tactics, messaging, campaigns and validation of proofs of concept supporting business leaders in tactical expansion

Lead the company’s effort to optimize monetization and click and call purchase strategy; exploring and reviewing exchange markets to both improve performance and provide competitive intelligence

Support the maintenance and operation of media mix modeling and attribution tools

Engage with stakeholders to identify and answer questions critical to the business
-
Monitor industry and competitor trends, leverage emerging technologies and open source tools, and harnesses new techniques to develop business solutions to glean a competitive advantage

Become the company’s subject matter expert on advanced marketing analytics

Education and Experience
-
A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operational Research, Data Science), Master’s Degree preferred

Minimum 3-5 years of collaborative data analytics experience delivering insights directly to key stakeholders

Marketing analytics experience (A/B testing, email marketing, online advertising)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Heavy experience in statistics and predictive modeling, including GLMs, hypothesis testing, and sample size calculation

Be a quantitative thinker with a passion and curiosity for robust analytics and applying advanced mathematical and statistical analysis in problem solving

Proficiency using software such as R, Python, SAS, and other languages of choice to analyze data

Intermediate to advanced SQL and Excel are a must
-
Snowflake and Tableau skills desired

Effectively able to communicate technical subject matter to all levels of the organization and ability to successfully interact with business partners
