Senior Paid Media Planner Job at DCG Communications
DCG Communications (DCG) is seeking a motivated Senior Paid Media Planner to provide strategy as well as lead and execute the strategy and implementation of nationwide advertising campaigns on various television, radio, digital, out-of-home, and print outlets on behalf of our federal client. You will join a team on an incredible mission of reducing and preventing suicide within the military and veteran populations.
In this role, you will play a key role in executing multimodal (earned, owned, and paid media) strategies and programs. You will be responsible for gathering inputs from leadership and key stakeholders to track and manage strategic and tactical communication projects and report on communication activity. Additionally, you will produce bi-weekly reports to provide updates on advertisements that were previously placed, audience demographics and impression information, and weekly advertisement strategy updates. You will help develop an Advertisement and Communications Plan to purchase advertisement space in major media markets.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop a national paid media plan
- Manage end-to-end paid media engagements involving campaign strategy, planning and implementation
- Oversee paid media buys in accordance with the client’s approved media plan
- Report on approved distribution of paid media placements in accordance with the national paid media plan
- Proactively identify communication needs and recommend support to address those needs
- Track and manage the execution of strategic and tactical communication projects
- Report on strategic and tactical communication activity
- Analyze relevant channels recommend tactical implementation and timing
- Manage dashboard tracking to determine the effectiveness of the campaign
- Develop, maintain and manage VA communication products that articulate VA’s purpose, initiatives, status, and achievements in a clear and engaging way
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 (ten) years of relevant professional experience
- Proven experience developing paid media placements for a national level, multi-modal (earned, owned, and paid media) public health, or social change campaign
- Experience managing a multi-million dollar paid media campaign
- Experience implementing a multi-channel (digital, social, broadcast, print, etc.) paid media campaign
- Proven ability to present campaign reports and recommendations to clients
- Experience with media planning, buying, and activation across channels including television, radio, digital media, social networks, online streaming services (e.g., Pandora, Spotify, SiriusXM), internet marketing (Google, Yahoo, etc.), out-of-home (OOH), print (including billboards), and website deployment; experience with other outlets such as major sporting events is a plus
- In tune with the latest social media developments, online behaviors, and trends
- Strong ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with people at all levels of an organization
- Possess strong attention to detail
- A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality
- Ability to present campaign reports and recommendations to clients
