This includes executing day-to-day operational activities and leading staff to support program goals and objectives. Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.
Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Senior Program Manager to support the Tactical, ISR Business Area Segment based at our Customer facility in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Lead the Tactical ISR program and organization in context of the GDMS leadership model
- Lead the organizations program including program oversight and review. Responsible for meeting business objectives for orders, sales, profit and cash
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to win business within existing markets and structure for growth in new markets
- Uses proposal plans and strategies to lead team in developing, defining, and implementing cohesive, integrated program/product, subcontractor, and material plans and business plans that achieve overall current and long-term objectives of the program
- Identifies needed resources, defines and assigns major program roles
- Monitors work accomplished to baseline plans to ensure rate of work completion is sufficient to meet program/product schedules, develops corrective actions, and communicate issues, impacts and corrective actions to program teams
- Balances programs, risks and opportunities with executable strategies to meet technical requirements and budgets
- Manages people who lead department or cross-functional program teams in matrix organization to achieve schedule, cost, and technical performance objectives
- Develops personnel to ensure efficient operation
- Delegates assignments to others for developing solutions
- Prepares and presents program status to leadership and external customers
- Interfaces with customers on technical matters regarding program/products
- Leads team to identify and quantify risks and opportunities; leads risk mitigation / opportunity capture activities
- Identifies market/scope changes and develops program positions for costs/price and feature changes or equitable cost/schedule adjustments
- Develops customer relationships and develops new business within the market/program
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong business acumen including knowledge of financial reports, business measurements and operational metrics to ensure maximum business impact to drive optimal decision making
- Strong leadership skills in people management, program execution, teambuilding, customer relationship management and business development
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and technologies including current and potential applications
- Ability to generate cohesive program plans
- Ability to develop and implement a program oriented WBS and WBS Dictionary
- Ability to track work accomplished to baseline plans and identify issues, track progress, and follow through on effective corrective actions based on data analysis and trends
- Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions on programs to internal and external representatives
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to evaluate quality of work product to ensure satisfaction of customer requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of advanced of risk and opportunity management techniques and ability to apply them to programs
- Demonstrated knowledge of business objectives proposal techniques, and business development for new business
- Ability to lead teams in matrix organization
- Ability to lead others in team building, conflict resolution, motivation
- Ability to develop and execute proposal plans and strategies
- Ability to apply advanced negotiation skills to solve internal, external and customer issues
- Demonstrated understanding of business and supply chain strategy
- Demonstrated knowledge of government contracting practices and regulations regarding acquisition
- Outstanding relationship management and marketing skills
- Skilled in the development and implementation of program strategy and tactics
- Ability to manage/mentor others within program management discipline
- Demonstrates proper negotiation of program related decisions
- May be required to travel
PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of direct Program Management experience in the DoD/Federal Marketplace
- Demonstrated intimate working knowledge of government acquisition process
- Experience in Tactical ISR arena is preferred
- Must be able to travel 25% of the time
- Position requires either Work-on-Site or Flex-on-Site be selected in Employee Workspace Plan

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Combined Salary Range: USD $185,050.00 - USD $205,350.00 /Yr. Company Overview:
