Transpo Group is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Transportation/Traffic Engineer who wants to join a dynamic organization to support and expand our private sector practice. This position would focus on managing private sector clients and working on new development projects that are shaping our fast-growing region. The work includes being able to lead and manage project teams to develop innovative transportation solutions to support land use proposals. The role also includes business development responsibilities and bringing new projects to Transpo.

Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Lead transportation analysis projects with a variety of clients and teaming partners
• Manage project team performances, strategic approaches, quality control, and meeting budget and schedule deadlines
• Prepare traffic impact analyses, transportation master plans, and other technical reports meeting local and state requirements
• Communicate complex technical transportation issues to a variety of audiences through written reports and verbal presentations
• Market and sell Transpo’s services to new and existing private sector clients

• Develop proposals with detailed scopes of work and budgets for projects
• Develop a network of professional contacts and clients, build client relationships, and sell our services
• Prepare and present at public meetings and hearings
• Participate in business development planning and other company strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in engineering or related industry
• Minimum BS/BA (Civil Engineering or Transportation-Related field)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and become a trusted advisor to clients
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry software pertaining to engineering

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• PE license
• PTOE certification
• Experience serving private sector clients

Pay: $129,002.00 - $195,498.00 per year
