The Galman Group is an industry leader in the Multifamily apartment, townhome and condominium industry in Southeastern PA and Delaware. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with multifamily industry experience to join our in house construction team to assist with renovation, new construction, and acquisition projects.
Primary Objectives
Complete quality jobs on time and within the scope of the established budget.
- Ensure all costs for assigned jobs are within budget
- Recorded correctly to proper budget line items.
- Run job per the timeline
- Administrate and attend construction meetings
- Identify and coordinate bids and proposals to buy out the jobs
- Communicate as necessary
- Assist in the administration of sub-contractor contracts/waivers (signed)
- Identify and order necessary materials
- Review plans and specs
- Coordinate and manage subs for project updating progress reports and daily logs
- Daily problem solving
- Communicate with accounting to provide invoice and project clarifications as requested
- Identify new subs/Suppliers
- Check in on site activities on weekends
- Work with L&I on all necessary issues
- Ensure On site safety
- Work directly with owners/Architect/Engineers on all issues on the project
- Identify and initiate all Change Orders (vendor/owner/accounting)
- Ensure Project Binder is correct Complete
- Approve project checklists and punch-list (before approving payments)
- Other duties as assigned by Management

- Flexibility to allow for unexpected issues to arise and schedules to change without notice
- Ability to communicate and coordinate among several parties to ensure timely results
- min of 7-10 years of project management experience 4 year degree with a background in structural and or civil engineering
- proficient with blueprints, plans and specs
- Accounting Knowledge
- computer skills and Multifamily experience required
- Strong People Skills
- Organized
- Good attention to detail
