Model N High Tech team is looking for candidates with strong Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for the Channel Data Management Product Development team. In this role you will have ownership of the overall test deliverables that both you and the QA staff produce. The role will have a strong focus on not only the defined changes/adds for a given release but the quality delivery of the release from UAT to production. Experience working on and delivering multi-tenant SaaS products is a plus.
Responsibilites
- Ownership of the design, develop test approaches, test strategies, and test plans to ensure testing is right sized and risk-based testing principles are applied
- Use of customer data during all the testing activities
- Integration testing of the different products within our high-tech division
- Drive the UAT testing activities, including planning, coordination, reporting on status and help manage any issues/concerns that occur.
- Create test automation scripts as part of the overall test automation platforms
- Participate in agile product development processes including grooming, planning and demos.
- Focus on ensuring each epic/story are complete; meeting customer needs, product quality and ability to deliver and support once in production.
- Provides status to the leadership team through regular updates on quality metric, test execution and ongoing quality initiatives for the product. Escalate issues/risks in a timely manner to management for resolution
- Overall QA leadership with a focus on prioritization, mentoring, and assistance to enable the QA team to be high value, cross-functional, with a focus on overall quality.
- Manage quality/test challenges at the team level providing guidance, training, technical support and where necessary mentoring individuals.
- Responsible for planning and executing production deployment activities. Including cross functional communication, activities for pre, during and post deployment to ensure successful deployments.
- Responsible for ongoing continuous improvement to build testing efficiency and effectiveness using innovative QA practices.
- Takes extreme ownership of team success and customer outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills
- 8+ years experience software testing and test plan design
- 5 + years advanced SQL knowledge.
- Experience in testing SAAS based, multi-tenant applications
- 5+ years in an automated testing environment with strong experience with frameworks.
- Experience with Automation Test development with junit and Selenium.
- Working experience within the AWS ecosytem
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the deliverable created during the development lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills, creative and critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with relevant quality assurance industry standard best practices and methodologies
- Dedication to customer satisfaction
- Strong communication skills (oral and written); ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

- Scrum master activities, including running all ceremonies, reporting and oversight
- Experience with other scripting languages such as JavaScript, Apex codes etc
- Experience with Confluence Wiki and Jira
- Selenium test automation framework
