As a Senior Red Team Operator, you are a valued member of the Threat a& Vulnerability Management Team. You are a seasoned operator that would be considered a subject matter expert in your field. You are ready to identify security gaps in the most mature environments and help identify ways to increase the security posture of the organization. You are capable of quick decision-making and able to quickly become familiar with new technologies that may be present in the environment. As a senior role, you effectively communicate high-level concepts and low-level details to leadership, both verbally and in written formats. You assume responsibility of initiatives to improve or develop processes or evaluate new technologies. Through purposeful collaboration, technical know-how, and a positive attitude, you help the team to be successful in its mission.

What You'll Do:
- Engage in high-risk attack simulations against internal and externally hosted services
- Participate in coordinated attack scenarios with additional Red Team operators
- Develop custom scripts and software solutions that implement attacker-utilized TTPs
- Review results of assessments and determine severity of findings with steps to remediation
- Coordinate presentations and operational debriefs tailored for non-technical audiences and key leadership/stakeholders
- Report vulnerabilities and provide technical assistance during the remediation lifecycle
- Develop training content and education opportunities for security personnel on attacker capabilities and TTP deep-dives
- Perform research required to execute Red Team assessments of new and emerging technologies adopted by the organization
- Develop relationships with external security organizations to maintain awareness of security issues and trends
- Train and mentor others

Skills/Requirements
What Experience You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or related field preferred; or equivalent related work experience
- Preferred certifications include OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CCNA, GPEN
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years of daily operations in an offensive security role
- Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages (Python, GoLang, C#, C++, etc)
- Prior Experience in writing exploits and payloads suitable for Red Team operations
- Prior Experience in reverse engineering and source code analysis for vulnerabilities and insecure practices
- Knowledge of Operating System internals including Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, and iOS. Mainframe experience would be an added bonus.
- Understanding of networking concepts including IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP, and management of these protocols.
- Familiarity with the Cyber Kill Chain and/or the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
- Subject matter experience obtained by performing or leading activities such as penetration testing, red team operations, purple team collaborations, security research, or other offensive security activities
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of security issues, risks, concepts and terminology
- Ability to quickly gain understanding of new technologies and environments
- Develop documentation of Red Team capabilities and processes
- Proven ability to effectively communicate operation results and technical analysis with all levels of the organization, as well as with external parties
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are needed to prioritize tasks and serve as a leader for enterprise security initiatives
