Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at LTS (VA)

LTS (VA) Remote

LTS is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for successfully delivering on all facets of full lifecycle recruiting in order to acquire quality talent for current and future openings. This individual will play a hands-on-roll in day-to-day recruiting as well as provide general oversight for all Talent Acquisition activities.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruiting a variety roles within government, technology, and healthcare. This role will also support multiple types of openings including fully funded, bid & proposals. Some positions may require government clearances and certifications.


Full Lifecycle Recruiting

  • Responsible for full lifecycle recruitment including creating talent pools, resume and application reviews, maintaining applicant tracking, scheduling and conducting interviews and pre-employment actions.
  • Recruit for a variety of positions and levels across multiple divisions, projects, and locations across the U.S.
  • Works closely with hiring managers to determine talent needs and develop a hiring strategy for each role.
  • Serves as main point of contact for applicants and helps create a positive candidate experience.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews with hiring managers.
  • Provide hiring managers with ongoing status reports for open searches.
  • Prepare approvals for new hires, transfers, and terminations.
  • Consistent communication with appropriate internal stakeholders regarding status of open positions and candidates.
  • Supports additional Human Resources functions/projects as needed and performs all other duties as assigned.

Leadership

  • Champion change to continuously improve key process improvements.
  • Provide oversight to coordinate recruitment activities amongst the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Coach and mentor talent acquisition team without direct reporting relationship.

Strategic Sourcing

  • Algin recruiting capability with our employer brand to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develops creative approaches and solutions to expand the candidate pool and successfully build an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Develops candidate pools through networking, direct recruiting efforts, sourcing strategies, referrals, etc.
  • Identify and attend recruitment events and increase strategic partnerships (i.e. colleges/universities, professional associations) to strengthen our talent pipelines.
  • Leverages employee referral program to support sourcing needs.

Tools, Technology, Metrics

  • Leverages recruitment resources including ATS, search engines, CRM, social media and targeted events to identify and pursue targeted candidates and sources.
  • Monitor, track and report on key recruiting KPI’s on a regular basis

Compliance

  • Applies recruiting and hiring practices that are following government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Helps process pre-employment processes including but not limited to the following: criminal background, education verifications and reference checks and driver’s license, for applicants.
  • Responsible for managing and supplying data for all reporting requirements.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10+ years of full life-cycle recruitment experience.
  • Experience managing or mentoring at least one direct report.
  • Experience recruiting within government contractor setting is required.
  • Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred.


Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to push, pull and lift maximum of 25 pounds (office supplies, files etc.).
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment to include recruiting surges.
