Server Job description
Venable Bistro is now hiring energetic and personable servers for its Front of House team. If you are sick of 9 to 5 Monday to Friday, come and enjoy a flexible work schedule at a restaurant that closes by 9 every night and closes at 2:30 on Sundays. Understanding, appreciating, and executing the art of great hospitality are the keys to a successful restaurant server. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent customer service, is detail-oriented and works well in a team setting. No previous experience required (preferred but not required), we are happy to train the right person with the right attitude. You must be available to work at least 3 shifts per week (lunch and dinner available). Opportunities to advance into bartending and management may also be available as we often choose to promote from within.

Duties:
- Greeting and seating customers
- Taking orders
- Serving alcohol
- Busing, cleaning, and resetting tables
- Answering phone calls
- Placing to-go orders
- Prep and side work
- Preparing customer bills and processing payment
- Assisting kitchen, such as plating and garnishing menu items

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour ($2.13 per hour plus tip pool)
