What You Will Get to Do:

  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
  • Develop service procedures, policies and standards
  • Take ownership of customers issues, clarify technical questions, follow problems through to resolution and meet all deadlines and commitments
  • Technical preparation and calculation of offers and orders of service and business trips
  • Coordinate and organize service technicians and their related business trips
  • Support technicians in the field
  • Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions
  • Coordinate, organize and document customer trials in the technical center
  • Coordinate, organize and process efficiently spare parts inquiries, offers, orders and deliveries including billing
  • Offer services and new developments to existing customers
  • Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports
  • Keep ahead of industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
  • Control resources and utilize assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Adhere to and manage the approved budget
  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
  • Receive tasks from superiors and inform superiors about ongoing projects

What Will Make You Successful:

  • Proven working experience as a Service Manager
  • Strong background in manufacturing
  • Experience in providing customer service support with strong service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software
  • Good understanding of management practices and techniques
  • Ability to think strategically, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Monroe, Michigan
  • Ability to travel when needed (training will be in Austria)
