Quincy Service Technicians are key to our success, that’s why we need you to start your career with us! By becoming a Service Technician Apprentice, you can receive extensive technical training and be ready to take on a full-time career as an Industrial Compressor Service Technician in a matter of months!

Qualifications for the Quincy Apprenticeship Program:

• Must be availability to attend a 16-month program, including extensive classroom and on-the-job training held at remote locations
• Must be available to travel overnight and work at different Quincy Compressor Locations and Regions around the country.
• Must be able to work independently and complete work within assigned deadlines
• Must be computer proficient, MS Office, Outlook, etc.
• Must have good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and on-call rotations
• Hand tools and specialty tools to be provided.

Education & Experience

• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Technical school certification or an associate degree in a technical field
• Candidates with a High School Diploma and technical training in electrical,
• hydraulics, and/or pneumatics will be considered

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and to work in industrial environments involving extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending and kneeling

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Must comply with company & customer safety and PPE requirements as directed

• Varying with task, will be required to wear safety glasses, hard hat, safety-toe shoes, arc-flash equipment (NFPA 70E or equivalent) and other safety equipment as defined by OSHA, Company, or other regulatory entity.
