Service Technician Job at Mercedes Benz of Billings
Mercedes-Benz of Billings is looking for full-time technicians to join our team due to our growing business. Must have experience in repairing and reconditioning of vehicles-all makes and models. Minimum 2 years automotive mechanical repair experience responsibilities. If you possess a positive attitude, dependability, and exceptional detail-orientated skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specification
What are the requirements for this job
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience as an automotive technician
- Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs)
- Attention to detail
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Mercedes-Benz Certification preferred, but not required
- Dealership and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification and/or Factory training is preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license & proof of insurance with a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
