Federal Data Systems is looking for a ServiceNow developer. The ServiceNow candidate will configure and customize the ServiceNow.

Essential Job Functions

· Create workflows.

· Build service requests from customer requirements.

· Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create script to automate rote tasks done in ServiceNow.

· Work with IT managers to generate views and reports as needed.

· Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data, and monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the system application.

Minimum Required Qualifications

· Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.

· Junior Level ServiceNow Developer

- No demonstrated experience is required.

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

· Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer

- Fourteen (14) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal Government is required.

- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

· JavaScript experience required.

· Comptia Security+ certification.

· Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.

Desired/Preferred Skills:

· Perform integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration.

· Gather specifications from the IT department and deliver a product and release that meets the needs presented.

· Create requirements definitions and technical specifications documentation plus load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems.

· Asses existing ServiceNow usage and recommend forward evolution of ServiceNow capabilities to maximize their use within the development environment.

· Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

· Train and mentor junior members of the team.

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
