Position Summary
Sewers are responsible for sewing together panels of fabric to create tablecloths, seat cushion covers, napkins and drapes
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sews panels of fabric together
- Trims excess material and edges
- Changes needles and threads
- Adjust sewing machine controls, spools
- Reports issues with machines to supervisor
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Singer, Merrow and Juki sewing machines
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- Ability to maintain a clean working environment
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers, customer representatives, guards, other personnel at location and Co-workers
- Ability to work long hours and/or varying shifts (day, evening, night, weekends and Holidays)
Schedules Available: Monday to Friday 10 am – 6:30 pm & Saturday 7 am – 12:30 pm
