Fluidra is seeking Sewers at our Cover-Pools location in Youngstown, Ohio.

JOB SUMMARY

General labor helping in the fabric department sewing rope and webbing onto vinyl pool covers.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Pull heat sealed covers from cart and stack them
• Prepping covers for sewing
• Sew rope into the webbing prior to sewing onto vinyl
• Sew rope and webbing onto the vinyl cover
• Measuring and checking finished covers before they are wrapped
• Other duties as assigned by Team Leader
• Other duties as needed to improve quality
• Assist the Materials Team Leader with other duties as requested
• Other duties as assigned by the department’s Team Leader or Manufacturing Manager

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The hours expectation for this position are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with periodic overtime hours. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to read and write, sit, walk within the facility; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office and production equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Duties are performed in an active manufacturing plant. Noise levels vary.
