This position works a 12-hour rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, overtime, and callouts

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Lead a shift operations team to success through plant process optimization in process safety, environmental compliance, and product quality to achieve best in class operational performance
• Drive effective implementation, use and application of operations focused reliability systems, tools, and measures to create value and achieve goals
• Understand plant processes and distributed control systems for the plant to aid in decision making and troubleshooting and ensure process safety is maintained
• Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment and process related issues. Communicate with maintenance to coordinate needed maintenance troubleshooting and repair work
• Work a physical position around hazardous chemicals that may require frequent standing, walking, climbing (stairs and ladders), and carrying up to 40lbs while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)(the successful candidate will be medically approved to participate in the respiratory protection and HAZWOPER programs)

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of process safety and PSM

What Will Put You Ahead

• Prior leadership experience
• 5+ years’ experience in chemical plant operations
