Shipping Clerk Job at Argento Vivo (SKF International, Inc)
Argento Vivo (SKF International, Inc) is a Jewelry Company located in mid-town Manhattan.
We are looking for an energetic individual to work full time in our fast-paced shipping/receiving and packing department.
You will be required to work full time and your primary tasks will be (but not limited to):
- Track incoming packages daily and make sure they are received
- Incoming Shipments must be checked, boxes counted and compared against packing slips or invoices. Discrepancies need to be reported immediately.
- Packing/closing our daily shipments
- Entering UPS / FEDEX
- Ordering shipping supplies and Packaging materials
- Printing box Labels
- Messenger services
- Keeping the packaging and shipping area organized
- Distribute packages and product to the proper places or people internally
Qualifications/Skills needed:
- Detail oriented
- Good communication skills
- Experience using computers and/or Excel will help, you do not need to be a wiz, but must know the basics.
- Fast paced. Works well under pressure and deadlines.
- English is a must, bilingual Spanish a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
