The second shift Shipping Clerk will be responsible for daily shipping operation, quality control, safety and management of employees. Duties Include:
- Prepare shipping paperwork for all outbound truck and rail shipments.
- Prepare cycle counts as needed.
- Work with forklift operator to ensure all shipments are ready and staged.
- Work with production planning to ensure products are being produced to ensure on-time shipments are met.
- Work with the railroad to ensure equipment is brought into the facility for loading and that loaded cars are picked up.
- Ensure products meet quality specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to work from elevated positions using required safety gear and procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for extended periods of time.
- Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
