The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for processing outbound shipping orders. Prepare domestic and international shipping documents, review special customer shipping instructions and processing shipment confirmations after orders have been shipped.

Job Duties

• Review open order report to process shipping orders.
• Prepare documentation, maintain shipping records, and coordinate logistics.
• Review special shipping instructions.
• Audit shipping documents for accuracy.
• Schedule and coordinate both domestic and international freight carriers.
• Coordinate shipping and bills of lading retention files for internal audit compliance.
• Maintain timely communications with customer service regarding open orders.
• Confirm orders shipped and process order ship confirmation for invoicing.
• Prepare Open Order Recap.
• Maintain all shipping related edits, files, etc.
• Responsible for International outbound containers
• Able to work in the warehouse as a Shipper by packaging and labeling various products for Shipping.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Education

• High School Diploma

Experience

• 3 years of experience shipping all types of parcel and LTL shipments - domestic and international.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word / Excel.
• SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a face past shipping / warehouse environment.
• Ability to remain organized and detail oriented while multitasking.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with employee across all areas of the organization.
• Ability to operator towmotor is a plus.
