Summary

Order Pullers will be responsible for verifying product before palatizing items for shipment, with high regard to safety and quality. Duties include but are not limited to keeping work areas clean, weighing product, material transport, and recording any information associated with the shipment. Order pullers will operate a hi-low and may be responsible for loading and unloading shipments. Core hours Monday through Thursday 1 pm to 9 pm and Friday 8 am to 5 pm in Wixom, Michigan.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to take direction from shift supervisors
• Ensure all SOPs and GMPs are followed
• View manifest and pick tickets to ensure the proper items are pulled
• After the verification process the order puller removes the product from the wrapper and stages it for pickup
• Finalized paperwork will be completed and added to the pallet
• Operate hi-low
• Loading and unloading Trucks
• Assisting material handlers with restocking products when needed
• During down time, employees are encouraged to make sure the area is clean and follow 5s procedures
• Commitment to continuous improvement

Competencies

• Basic mathematical skills
• Knowledge of 5s procedures
• Strong written and verbal skills

Education and Experience

• Highschool diploma or GED
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Forklift operator experience

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to occasionally lift 50-70 pounds, with the assistance of equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
• Must have good hand dexterity to manipulate or assemble product
• Ability to repeatedly bend, stretch, or twist to stack products on to pallets
• Must be able to pass a preemployment background check and drug screen
