Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team as an F-16 qualified Instructor pilot to provide F-16, block 60 simulator instruction and training to pilots of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force. (Note: The selected candidate will deploy from their current US location).
Instructs pilots in tactical pilot proficiency training in the F-16 simulator by applying advanced technical concepts in the area of aviation and provides assistance in creation of training material. Assists in the preparation of schedules, maintenance of training records and ensures that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student. Evaluates and monitors students' performance. This position is typically represented by an experienced pilot.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have at least an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting. Must be able to obtain a Final DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
- Experienced instructor pilot with a minimum of 1000 flight hours in fighter aircraft
- Recent experience instructing in fighter aircraft and its systems
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
- Fighter aircraft flying training instructor experience within the last 5 years.
- Must be proficient with computers, multi-media equipment, and platform instruction
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have a valid passport
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from other candidates:
- Experience working with foreign nationals is highly desired
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Operational experience with Night Vision Goggles (NVGs), Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN), and the latest fighter aircraft weapons inventory
- Experience briefing and working closely with senior USAF and foreign government Air Force officers
- Positive attitude and cultural understanding to effectively accomplish training program goals.
