Mozaic (a chapter of The ARC) is looking for a Site Supervisor. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of assigned Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and ensures compliance with regulations and agency policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for direct supervision, training, and mentoring of direct support professional staff in day habilitation and community programs
- Ensure all program participants are protected of their rights at all times.
- Supervises and monitors individuals' dietary and nutritional needs.
- Ensures all activities are completed by individuals as outlined in their Life Plans.
- Provides individuals assistance on activities of daily living such as grooming, cooking, bathing, toileting, communication, and others as needed to promote and improve independence.
- Transports and accompanies individuals to activities with support staff.
- Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with families/guardians of the individuals, local businesses and service providers.
Are you qualified?
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Two years supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Basic computer skills.
