Description
Under the general supervision of the Manager, the Polysomnographer displays proficiency and performs at a level of excellence all Sleep Diagnostic procedures and other related procedures in accordance with the guidelines established by the American Sleep Disorders Association, and policies and procedures of Tampa General Hospital. Duties may include patient education, monitoring multiple physiological data, and recognize the need for medical intervention if patient safety is at risk. They must be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Polysomnographer is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications
Additional Information: This is a position for the Sleep Lab and will require the candidate to have either a RPSGT, RST or RRT-SDS, credential to qualify for consideration.
