SMT Machine Operator Job at Leddy Group
A rapidly growing company is now hiring for their SMT Machine Operator role in Portsmouth, NH. You’ll operate their newly expanded SMT line to produce components for high-quality LED displays. This role offers a great full time, first shift schedule and opportunities for growth!
Responsibilities of the SMT Machine Operator
- Properly set up and operate SMT equipment (screen printers, solder paste inspection machines, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and conveyor systems)
- Replenish reels of parts using automated splicing machines
- Place electronic components on printed circuit boards
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Perform regular preventive machine maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety requirements
- Complete LEAN training and participate in continuous improvement projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications of the SMT Machine Operator
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of SMT experience
- Flexibility to work in different manufacturing works cells as needed
- Self-motivated team player
- Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Close visual focus and attention to detail
Hours for this SMT Machine Operator position are Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm. Pay starts at $20+/hour. Apply today!
