Allied Universal is looking to hire A SOC Security Analyst Whitehouse Station, NJ Area
Part Time
Shifts Available : Saturday - Sunday, Morning and evening
Sat and Sun- 11am - 11pm
Wednesday and Thursday 11am - 7pm
Preferred experience : 6+ Months of Security Experience
Hourly Pay : $22

Chubb’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is a multifaceted command type center focused on the company’s incident management process.
This position requires an analytical mindset to proactively monitor global conditions and events in order to identify
and analyze possible impacts to company personnel, facilities, operations, or brand.
This ranges from localized technical problems that threaten business processes to region-wide disasters that threaten life safety.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:This role mans the weekend and weekday flex operations based at the Chubb’s Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Whitehouse Station, NJ.
The GSOC provides critical system monitoring to ensure the continued safety and security of the Chubb’s employees, offices and worldwide assets against threats;
e.g. extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, and infrastructure failures.
The operator is also responsible for assessing domestic and international risk and providing duty of care support for Chubb’s travelers and operations.
Specific duties may vary, but the operator will be responsible for ensuring the effective and timely response to alarms,
calls of distress, incidents, intelligence alerts and notifications of major incidents to Senior Management.

Responsibilities
- Ensure serviceability and accountability of all GSOC equipment and software
- Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV operation
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the use of internet, open source searches,
- Operators must be flexible and available to work outside normal shift schedule on an as-needed basis
- Responsible for maintaining specific awareness of domestic and international risks
- Conduct critical research related to global events that could potentially impact the company
- Proactively search all available sources (e.g., GSOC tools, open source internet, physical security systems, etc.)
- Liaise with partners at all appropriate geographic locations and organizational levels to determine the actual effects of potential threats
- Accounts for the wellbeing of company travelers in the affected area(s)
- Develop and distribute accurate, succinct, and timely incident communications in compliance with established escalation protocols
- Provide calm, composed support to incident response operations that may be fast-paced and dynamic following natural disasters and/or man-made emergencies
- Maintain global situational awareness throughout incident response operations
- Send mass-communications messages to employees regarding operational changes such as office closures, delayed openings, or other pertinent information
- Provide written and verbal feedback about program effectiveness, including ideas for program improvements
- Ensure effective response to, and management of, incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities related to operations
- Maintain effective and forthright communications with reports as needed
- Maintain strict confidence of operations, personnel, and management information.

Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years operational security experience in corporate environment with multi-facility operations
- Prior operations center experience in Security, Military or Law Enforcement field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to gather and critically evaluate information
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Strong reasoning competence to investigate, analyze and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative,
- Ability to write effective and concise reports
