The Social Media & Events Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing social media strategies and content creation, as well as project management events for the marketing and wholesale team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
SOCIAL MEDIA:
- Develop a social media strategy that is process-driven, consistent, methodical, and measurable.
- Help develop and implement a social media strategy to drive organic and paid social media efforts on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, BeReal.
- Manage every step of driving a social content strategy, from developing strategic vision, to getting buy-in from stakeholders, managing the content calendar, creative development + reviews, and performance analysis.
- Schedule and post content in various platforms for both organic and paid social.
- Create and execute giveaways, hashtag campaigns and sweepstakes.
- Stay up and report on latest social media trends and bring new and big ideas to the table with a digital/ social first mindset, as well as collaboratively build on others concepts to deliver engagement and reach.
- Deliver social media reporting, insights, and delivery using analytics tools a reporting dashboard for the organization.
- Respond to customer queries through social networks and engage with people we follow.
- Work with relevant influencers or complementary brands to grow the company's social following organically.
- Collaborate with teammates across Marketing and cross-functional partners to bring the collective company vision to life and drive impactful performance.
- Create compelling content for engagement, acquisition, and sales.
EVENTS MANAGER:
- Manage the execution and logistics of Marketing sponsored and wholesale pop-up shops and events.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive event project plan, including SOP for all setup tasks, promotional items, literature, bookings, and other details.
- Coordinate, train, and support on-site event staffers.
- Complete event recaps and postmortems.
- Visit wholesale vendors and merchandise their fixtures as well as help with wholesale store launches.
REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools.
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, photography and photoshop.
- Deep knowledge of marketing and media technologies & tools, particularly Meta, YouTube, Snap, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Must have strong organizational, planning, coordination, and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and reporting research results.
- Self-starter and able to independently move projects forward.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Expert with Excel experience with pivot-tables and advanced formulas.
- Expert PowerPoint required.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Able to hit deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Has reliable transportation and the ability to drive company vehicles.
- Up to 25% travel as needed for events.
- Pass background screening process.

- Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.
- Sitting for long periods of time.
- Comprehending business performance reporting and charts/spreadsheets.
