Join our team in helping seniors and persons with disabilities in exploring benefits and community services while they live independently at Gable Point Senior Housing, a HUD funded community. Our Social Service Coordinators are full-time and enjoy working with our residents individually regarding their needs along with planning social and educational events. Essential Functions:
- Engage residents while providing needs assessments.
- Support residents with entitlement applications.
- Enjoy establishing a rapport with residents while maintaining confidentiality.
- Plan social and educational programs for residents and staff.
- Assist the Housing Manager through difficult resident interactions.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field.
- Preferred experience with older adults and entitlements.
- Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
- Willingness & Ability to participate/obtain HUD Related Training or other training as needed.
