Multicare Rockwood Clinic is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or LMHC who is passionate about patient care and committed to clinical excellence. The Integrated Mental Health Therapist-Rockwood Primary Care is responsible for independently providing assessments, treatment/care planning and psychosocial therapy within a primary care clinic setting for a diverse population of preventative, acute care and chronic disease management patients. The incumbent uses a variety of theoretical treatment models and interventions and excellent communication skills to work within a primary care/chronic disease management team setting with limited supervision; documents treatment/communication in keeping with department standards and keeps current on community resources to effectively provide linkage and advocacy to fulfill client’s needs.

This position is located at Spokane Valley Primary Care providing an easy commute within our growing community. Partial telework may be available with WA state licensure.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology or closely related field LICSW, LMHC, LMFT (Must be independently licensed)
• Knowledge in crisis intervention techniques and short-term therapy
• Ability to work cooperatively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong case conceptualization skills
• Experience facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions preferred
• Ability to build rapport and establish a strong therapeutic working relationship with patients
• Experience providing evaluation and evidence-based psychotherapy with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to complete electronic charting and documentation

Must have WA state license by time of employment and, DEA and NPI. Current BLS for healthcare providers by the American Heart Association.
