Responsibilities:
Software lead for UISS prototype system developed by the Navy. Lead small software team for software development, overseeing code reviews, and supporting lab testing, integration and at sea testing.
Software lead for Mission Package Computing Environment (MPCE). Assisted in developing requirements and design for the MPCE Utility Server (MUS). This system allowed for monitoring and maintenance for the entire MPCE network.
Software Lead for the Ship-to-Shore (SSC). Developed initial functional requirements for the SSC’s C4N system that was to be developed and implemented by the government.
Lead software engineer for the Mission Package Application Software (MPAS) integration team. Performed installation and integration of various mission system software components, tested, and developed initial MPAS versions along with associated documentation.
Lead software engineer for the Improved Fuel Fill System (IFFCS). Developed requirements, design, wrote all software, and tested software for the LHA IFFCS. The system automated much of the fueling/de-fueling of the LHA. Software developed using Factory Floor automation software.
Ported software developed for LHA IFFCS to run on DDG class of ships using Siemen’s hardware and Step 7 software. Converted code to run in a different operating system environment installed and tested software on the DDG.
Software team member for the EN ATD, which is an autopilot for the LCAC. Ported DOS based C and Ada code to run in the NT environment. Code included the 1553 interface as well as adding a windows environment under visual Studio and C++. Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
Lead software engineer that Co-chairs Software IPT and provided oversight for Unmanned Influence Sweep System (UISS) and the Mine Countermeasure (MCM) Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) mine hunting platforms (MHPs).
As Software IPT lead, held software meetings to cover software related issues. Also supported Program Management (PM), System Engineering (SE), and Test IPTs.
Provided oversight for overall systems and software development efforts. This included support for functional requirements development, oversight of system design, software requirements development, software design, code reviews, unit testing, subsystem testing, and system testing.
