Responsibilities
- Work with team members in the design and conception of projects, focusing on the programming involved to ensure the machines run within the scope.
- Help team leaders with testing of machinery going to end-user.
- When needed, available to travel to job sites for initial machine setup and/or emergency customer support, not to exceed 25%.
- Work with other software technicians and engineers with implementation of R&D, targeting continuous improvement.
- Provide technical direction when working with Project Engineers while ensuring company standards are followed.
- Work directly with the customer on controls/program design to ensure the machine runs the product correctly and to the specifications in accordance with the scope of the project.
- Once the machine is at the facility, provide technical support (via phone and email) for customers.
- Help maintain a program, I/O, and other technical records for consistent quality machine testing and serviceability.
- Complete necessary documentation for machines when completed.
- Build necessary programs required for machines using company master programs while keeping to company standards.
- Startup machines and finish to completion, ensuring appropriate documentation.
- Download all programs
- Troubleshoot wiring
- Start machines
- Test product
- Cleanup HMI and PLC programs
- Complete checkoff sheet
- Inform team leaders and project engineers of any changes found or needed ○ Finalize machines
- Complete chapter 3 of the machine manual
- Update master programs
Education/Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Robotics, Electrical, or Controls.
- 0-5 years of experience in PLC programming or related area.
- Skilled in Logic and Programming.
- PLC experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix and/or CompactLogix).
- HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric.
- Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job functions.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written skills.
- Works well with ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Takes initiative in providing support for customers and improving company products

- Fallas matches a maximum of 4% on 5% of employee contributions

- 1 % match on 1% employee contribution
- 1 % automatic enrollment and will increase by 1% each year until you meet 5%

- Year One – 1 Week and 3 Days (Pro-rated)
- Year Two – 2 Weeks and 3 Days (Pro-rated)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
