Join our growing team of motivated and skilled Designers! We are hiring a Solar Designer to prepare site layouts and electrical designs in a high-volume setting. Key Duties

• Design plans for photovoltaic solar systems for residential and small commercial-scale systems utilizing Aurora.
• Document and apply building and electrical code requirements across local jurisdictions.
• Create solar layout mockups and drawings as requested.
• Communicate effectively with sales consultants, site inspectors, and project managers to develop the right system for each client.
• Identify and diligently resolve design issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

About You

You're a problem-solver and a quick learner with solid knowledge of structural and electrical engineering concepts. You're familiar with Aurora and may have some drafting experience. You work well independently but have strong communication skills and want to be part of a team. You're extremely detail-oriented, can switch contexts, and meet deadlines reliably.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (in progress or complete) - Current students and recent graduates welcome!
• Understanding of construction, mechanical and electrical design-a plus
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local building codes-a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Stellar written and verbal communication skills
• Strong desire and passion for driving California communities toward clean energy and a brighter future
• Deadline and detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
