Solar Installer Position - Hiring Immediately

Apollo Energy is a rapidly growing, locally owned solar company. Apollo Energy was founded to provide homeowners with affordable ownership options for solar electricity.

A major part of a positive experience with solar is a positive experience with their installation. Apollo Energy is seeking entry level solar installers. Opportunities for advancement and earning solar industry credentials (such as NABCEP) are available.

40 hours per week available, plus bonuses. Crew meets in Denver and installs at locations throughout the front range. Company vehicles provided. An installer can expect to make $18-$22 per hour (plus bonuses that average to $20-$26/hour), depending upon experience and certifications. New hires have the opportunity for their first raise after 30 days.

Qualifications

*Construction or roof experience, preferred but not required *Attention to detail *Ability to transport and lift materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (50 lbs to 100 lbs) *Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces *OSHA 10 safety certification, preferred by not required *Ability to walk/stand for 4 hours at a time *Must have reliable transportation and a phone

Responsibilities:

*Load, unload, and receive material *Install flashing and properly seal all roof penetrations *Assemble the racking and solar array *Complete all trenching, concrete work and equipment assembly, as needed *Complete project clean up, including customer site and installation vehicle *Repair any roof damage, as needed *Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor *Ensure each work area is cleaned from trash and debris *Clean dirty equipment immediately after use *Other duties as assigned

Typical Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm, and Friday 7am to 1pm
