Solar Panel Installer Job at Obsidian Solar
Obsidian is looking for installers in Dallas to handle our increasing volume. At least some experience is a must. MUST BE IN OR NEAR THE DALLAS-FORT WORTH METROPLEX.

Position Summary
As an Installer your responsibilities are to assemble, install, or maintain solar on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. This may include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules.
- Job Duties/ Responsibilities
- Assemble all components of a residential solar system
- Handle trenching and concrete work
- Install mounts and rooftop install of the direction of the Lead
- Maintain a clean work site and safe working environment
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment
- Job site clean up
- May perform required travel for extended periods at a time
Qualifications Requirements
- Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
