SolarTech is looking for an experienced individual to join our growing business. We are a locally owned business with 20+ years in the Solar industry serving California & Arizona.

Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Operations, the Solar Service Manager performs a wide variety of troubleshooting and customer service duties. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and a genuine care to his/her work craft. Most importantly the ideal candidate will be able to effectively troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical solar issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Follow-up on service calls

-Assist with Scheduling

-Troubleshoot system issues

-Selling new services, looking for opportunities to expand

-Quote Removal and Reinstall, Service requests and small add-on projects (less than 10 panels)

-Listen / discuss options with upset customers and diffuse situations

-Submit warranty claims to manufacturers

-Create monthly reports to upper management

-Manage service staff and crews field issues as they arise

-Remotely troubleshoot installed solar systems displaying systems of poor performance based on monitoring data

-Work with equipment vendors to diagnose hardware failures

-Escalate unresolved technical issues by scheduling a field technician to troubleshoot on site

-Creating and configuring monitoring portals for customer solar systems in appropriate manufacturer software (SunPower, SolarEdge, Enphase, SMA, etc.)

-Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email -Creating and configuring monitoring portals for customer solar systems online

-Conduct ongoing performance monitoring of solar systems

-Conducting consistent follow ups with customers via phone and email

-Reporting and notating customer accounts in CRM System

-Locating/retrieving customer information on Salesforce

-Performing general office administration work and other tasks as assigned by manager

Pay- 50 to 70k Base + commission – based on skill – TBD at interview.
