Citadel Roofing and Solar is looking for a stellar Solar Technician for our growing Southern California Solar Team. We have jobs all over Southern California!

Position Purpose:

Commission PV systems within one week after system has been installed, trouble shoot system to successfully commission and operate system. Conduct solar inspection with AHJ and or utility when required including being able to set up ladder for roof and or attic per inspector request. Provide Citadel interconnection team needed documents (copies of signed off permits) to submit for utility interconnection applications. Check in with builder Superintendent and provide Citadel Superintendent with any update/needs for the builder. Perform customer service appointment with homeowners and communicate to them of the situation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Track installations and schedule commissioning’s for upcoming week

· Provide required documentation of each commissioning

· Schedule and host solar inspections (inspect installation prior to local inspector showing up for inspection to ensure system passes

· Retrieve missing permits when requested

· Perform customer service appointments and communicate to homeowners and Citadel Superintendents of issues

· Coordinate commission of each system installed within one week of installation completion

· Coordinate AHJ/Utility inspections when required

· Customer Service

· Support Field Operations
