Position Summary

Rhapsody is actively seeking a Solution Consultant to join our team. This role is remote, but we have local offices in Boston MA , Frisco TX and Monrovia CA. Limited travel is required.

The Solution Consultant will help to define, design, and implement Rhapsody’s Interoperability Suite messaging, pricing, delivery capability, and processes. He/she will manage and report on appropriate business metrics to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and drive our success in growing revenue for Rhapsody’s Interoperability Suite offerings. This role will report directly to the Global Vice President of Solution Consulting.

Essential Functions

• Meets with clients, client services, and technical delivery/management teams regularly in the support of client enhancement or build projects and sales pursuits.
• Partners with business stakeholders, management, teams and customers to identify needs and guide the delivery of cost-effective, high-performance technology infrastructures and use of third-party applications.
• Participates in client requirements sessions and provides the mapping of client needs to products as well as custom development/services.
• Develops technical deliverables in support of sales pursuits (i.e. detailed solution scope assumptions and pricing estimates for infrastructure, technical content for sales pitch)
• Provides consultation for developing level-of-effort estimations of marketing solutions.
• Develops technical deliverables in support of client solutions:

• • Data models
  • Context/Data flow diagrams
  • Infrastructure diagrams
  • Architectural and/or Interface diagrams

• Provides hands-on troubleshooting and consulting for solution performance challenges or project delivery concerns if needed.
• Participates in technical roadmap assessment projects, following engagement methodologies in place.

Responsibilities:

• Defines and obtains resources to fulfill solution sales delivery effectively, while meeting or exceeding profitability goals.
• Defines and owns the execution of a vision that enables third party developers to build applications on top of Rhapsody's platforms.
• Partners with internal stakeholders and customers to understand their needs and how to solve them with technology.
• Support execution of our strategic vision that reimagines how our internal organization scales with technology as we continue to grow.
• Provides the processes, tools and training to deliver high quality services on time, to plan, and on budget to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Establishes business reporting and KPIs. Provides business updates on a consistent basis to stakeholders.
• Measures customer satisfaction to identify areas for continual improvement.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of experience managing revenue generating solutions for a software company (preferably healthcare IT company)
• Experience in one or more of Rhapsody’s product solutions or equivalent: Rhapsody Integration Engine, Corepoint Integration Engine, Rhapsody Semantic Terminology, Rhapsody Identity EMPI from a technical perspective as either a developer, user or administrator.
• Experience in a related technology stack such as Security, Cloud Computing, Networking, Containerization, Database DBA or similar.
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively, scoping, planning and completing service delivery projects in accordance with outlined scope, budget and timelines.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct effective meetings & presentations.
• Deep passion for working with customers to solve their needs and represent their points of view to the engineering org.
• Ability to leverage technical background and hold your own in any discussions related to software stacks and engineering practices.
• Appreciates working in a global organization with teammates in different time zones/regions.
