Overall
The Solutions Architect (SA) is responsible for creating and promoting Embedded Analytics (EA) solutions using Tessent Embedded Analytics products, in support of customer systems’ characteristics and requirements.

Job Duties
  • Serves as the “technical face” of EA in early customer/prospect engagements
  • Has an in-depth technical understanding of EA products (both HW and SW) as well as the product roadmap
  • Understands our customers’ use-cases
  • Can use our products to solve the customers’ use-case needs, and proactively suggest ways to generate additional value
  • Creates long term value for the customer and for Siemens EDA by “optimizing” the revenue generated from each deal
  • Contributes into the product roadmap
  • Educates and supports sales teams and sales management
  • Will present in conferences and on panels

Experience and background:
  • Should have a strong technical background, have designed SoCs from concept, through architecture to implementation and to
deployment.
  • Should be proficient in systems’ software and hardware and the understand their behaviors and interactions
  • Should be able to relate and understand the customers’ challenges and problems – and provide solutions using EA products.
  • Should understand the vision of In-life Analytics and be able to evangelize it.

The ideal candidate will have had experience in a number of fields – e.g. wireless, consumer, HPC etc.
The SA works closely with an outstanding, world-wide, interdisciplinary team of professionals, dedicated to open communication and revenue growth. This team spans the functions of product development/engineering, marketing, and sales.

Job Qualifications:
Siemens EDA seeks an extraordinary, self-driven individual, with the capability and desire to make a significant contribution to Silicon lifecycle solution. Candidates for this position should have a strong understanding of, and experience in, this lifecycle, spanning requirements conception, architectural definition, logical and physical design, software partitioning and test.
Work experience: A minimum of 10 years as Systems Architect

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced technical degree and/or an MBA desired.
Travel: The scope of this role is global and requires the candidate be capable of international travel. Typical travel required: 30% - 40%.

  • HW :
  • SoC and System Architecture
  • System Performance and tradeoffs
  • Understanding modern SoC design flow.

  • SW :
  • Understanding of Embedded SW (in the context of eSDK)
  • Languages: Python, C/C++ (desirable)
  • OS: Linux, Containers ( dockers, kubernetes – desirable for addressing massive/scalable SW deployment)
  • Knowledge of database (SQL, other) desirable
Security
  • Understanding of security protocols, concept pf key exchanges, etc.

The total cash compensation range for this position is $181,300 to $362,600 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. If you reside in the Bay Area the total cash compensation range for this position is $204,600 to $388,900 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
