KS Engineers, P.C. (KSE) is seeking talented, certified individuals to join the New York market’s fastest-growing Special Inspection agency! KSE’s Special Inspections and Material Testing Department needs certified field inspectors for public building and infrastructure projects in the New York market. This is an exciting opportunity to participate, in a hands-on way, in assuring that construction practices and construction materials meet the design requirements and building codes for the structural integrity and life safety of those projects.

Construction Management – Driver

Reports to: Manager – Special Inspections

Technical Responsibilities:

• Duties can include travelling to various project sites on a daily basis and transporting packages and other goods.
• Duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering parcels to the correct address.
• Follow the best practice for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck.
• Planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.
• Communicating with dispatchers, and other team members to make deliveries
• Meeting delivery deadlines.
• Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
• Updating monthly mileage records.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, which helps in work efficiency.
• Obtaining client signature when needed.
• Responsive to Client and other KSE Manager/ needs, and all other duties as assigned.

Physical Responsibilities:

• Physical strength and ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or Equivalent
• Proven experience as a Driver.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with minimal traffic violations.
• Familiar with GPS devices.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage.
• A polite and professional disposition.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving Situations (e.g., at rush hour)

Experience:

• 1 year driving experience.
