The Campus Store is looking for a web/marketing specialist to promote the Campus Store by engaging students, employees, alumni. This position will work collaboratively with central Marketing and Communications, which operates as a full-service agency within the university.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Creates design solutions for a wide range of complex visual communication assignments, including a wide variety of graphic applications requiring innovative and creative thinking.
  • Works from general design guidelines and principles utilizing creative skill and judgment regarding composition, media selection, presentation impact, and style definitions to communicate projects.
  • Performs duties involving the creation and design of original graphics using the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Scala.
  • Create graphically designed content for print and digital assets, including the Campus Store website.
  • Instrumental in creative projects for the department with the support of an in-house creative team.
  • Foster key relationships with Campus Store Staff, university marketing, university printing, and media services to oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Use marketing and design to solve objectives for the department.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree or two years of related experience or any combination of education and experience totaling two years.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of web page design and content creation/editing.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
  • Knowledge of web design and/or content creation preferred.
  • Demonstrated artistic and/or design skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.* Ability to design web pages.
