Overview of the Role

  • The Customer Service & Order Management Specialist role provides excellent, timely, accurate, and professional customer service to clients and internal sales departments. The role requires strong email communication skills and administrative/ data entry skills.
  • Hybrid position - 3 days in-office and 2 days remote; must be local to Rowlett, TX

What You’ll do at C.A. Carlin

  • Handle incoming orders and input into order entry system
  • Review orders for accuracy and completion
  • Assist customers/clients with questions or problems on their orders
  • Maintain necessary data within order entry system to ensure efficient processing
  • Work on variety of web-based client systems

What You Should Bring to the Table

  • Must have Microsoft Excel experience including spreadsheet development and the ability to create simple formulas and sort data
  • Flexible with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Great data entry skills
  • Accuracy in your work with a high level attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

You Will Stand Out if You Have

  • Prior experience with a broker/manufacturer
  • Previous GenWeb experience
