In partnership with a reputable school district in Quincy, MA, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and diagnose communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with various communication needs and disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to enhance students' communication skills.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Experience working as an SLP in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of a variety of communication disorders and intervention strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems is a plus.
