JOB SUMMARY The primary function of the Sprayer is to create rubber molds. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Comply with Boral Safety Policies and Procedures • Spray coats of rubber onto plugs using a spray gun • Brush rubber onto plugs using a paint brush • Prepare and apply scrim • Prepare mold bikinis using scissors • Replace filters in Spray Booths • Make minor repairs to mold skins • Report all injuries to supervisor • Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Be willing to learn to use a spray gun, scissors and other required small hand/power tools • Attention to detail and accuracy • Must be safe minded and alert during all times of operation • Must be able to read and communicate in English EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE The employee should have the following: • No minimum education requirement • No prior experience or training required ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee should possess the ability to: • Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be above 85 db • Prolong standing or in stationary position • Complete repetitive movements • Bend and/or twist • Lift/move/transport items up to 40 pounds • Ability to move or traverse about the facilities • Ability to work around foam dust, latex materials, chemicals and other substances, power tools, high volume forklift traffic and in various environmental conditions • Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
