This position is for 3rd shift; 11:00pm-7:30am.

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Spreader spreads capsules in a single, even layer onto paper lined stack trays. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

This is a seasonal position and can range from 1-6 months.

• Prepares stack trays with liner paper to receive soft gel capsules
• Scoops capsules from encapsulation machine after they have been released from the tumbler
• Checks quality of product
• Builds stacking trays in a safe manner to a height of 75 inches then places stacked trays into the drying tunnels
• Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
• Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Basic mathematical skills
• Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
• Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc within a manufacturing environment
