Sr. GIS Technician (government/municipalities required) Job at Mantek Solutions
Our client is seeking a Sr. GIS Technician to support Local Government / Municipalities / Water District clients with part-time and intermittent GIS project requirements. Work is remote but may require travel to So.Cal for necessary meetings. Initial project is mapped for 60 hours.
Requires: US residency, successful pass of national background check
Sample Projects:
Public Works: Stops signs are replaced every XX years, they are entered on a GIS map and recorded in database. Will run and update reports to track needed maintenance. Same for fire hydrants, spigets, etc..
Understand the software to add to existing GIS and build more reports, update and make changes.
Water District: GIS mapping of sewer lines, water sources, maintenance requirements, etc.
