based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an experiences Sr. IT Service Desk Technician to join their growing team. The IT Service Desk is the central point of contact for all IT related incidents and service requests. The role of the Sr. IT Service Desk Technician is to provide first line support for internal and external customers and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as first point of contact for all IT related issues/requests via call, e-mail, walk-in, or web and captures user/issue information and enters in tracking system.
  • Prioritizes incoming Incidents and support requests including responding to customers in a timely manner. Works to resolve all severity cases in a timely fashion, or escalates issue as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Performs basic system administration functions including user account maintenance.
  • Maintains and updates documentation relating to network and help desk issues. Improves and adds information to the knowledge database.
  • Provides on-call support which requires working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advance notice.
  • Responsible for providing guidance to Service Desk technicians related to hardware / application troubleshooting.
  • Serves as escalation point within the Service Desk, handling escalations from Service Desk Technicians.
  • Acts as Subject Matter expert within the Service Desk team to help resolve potential problems with desktops, laptops, monitors, mobile devices, docking stations, Member portals, Physician portals and all other applications. Escalates to higher level teams as required.
  • Critical Incident Management, including bridge coordination and Problem root cause identification.

Qualifications:

Education / Experience / Knowledge:

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 3 years’ experience in the support of Client desktop environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two years related experience equals one year of schooling. Related experience includes Microsoft desktop operation systems and applications suites in a Windows Server environment.

Additional experience includes knowledge of the following:

  • Installing and maintaining Desktop Hardware and Software systems including Windows 10 and Office 365.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in a group setting.
  • Experience with iPhone and iPads.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret survey data, complex documents, and guidelines.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to write reports,business correspondence, speeches, presentations using original orinnovative techniques or style.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
