SRG Global is looking for a Sr. Industrial Engineer to join our team. This role can be based out of any SRG Global location!

The Industrial Engineer is a core member of the Operations Transformation group with the exciting mission: “To accelerate SRG Global’s factory of the future (FoTF) through exploration and implementation of transformational technologies, to solve current & future challenges in order to create & maintain an edge in manufacturing excellence”. In this role, the Industrial Engineer will work with cross functional teams and plant partners to develop robust material flow and robotic automation solutions utilizing new & upgraded technologies, from opportunity evaluation to solution hand-off.


What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Partner with capabilities to analyze the value stream of new products and design connection solutions
  • Lead industrialization events at the different plant sites for upcoming projects
  • Demonstrate a data driven and analytical approach to decision making
  • Develop material handling automation best practices to help with material flow challenges
  • Maintain and present project timelines and updates to the extended SRG Global teams
  • Develop material flow design criteria and create supply chain facility layouts
  • Identify and evaluate supply chain automation, vision & robotics technologies, and solution providers


The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Experience as an Industrial Engineer with lean foundation
  • Experience with designing, procuring, installing, and ramping up of robotics solutions, automated material handling equipment and production lines
  • Experience with process flow analysis, time/motion studies, and proficient in value stream mapping
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience implementing high value, complex capital equipment and systems
  • Experience with distribution and/or logistics process flows related to facility layouts projects
