What You’ll Do:
SSB is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with expertise in project planning, management, and successful implementation of high profile, strategic business, and technology initiatives. The PM will work in a highly matrixed environment to deliver IT projects. The selected candidate will report to the IT PMO Manager. The ability to establish strong business relationships with key stakeholders is a critical attribute for the success of this role. Strong communications across multiple business channels and solid project management skills to drive our technology transformation efforts are key factors for success.
How You’ll Do It:
- Manage a portfolio of technology and/or business facing projects including planning (project initiation, governance, WBS/project schedule/milestone development), management (project risk, issue, dependency, budget and change control), utilizing the SDLC and PM best practices (PMBOK).
- Provide PMO support of metrics, status reporting and dashboard reporting
- Responsible for managing IT project budgets and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Manages the design, development and/or implementation of new or enhanced systems projects.
- Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project and meeting interim deadlines of project.
- Scope and complexity of projects may vary must be able to handle multiple projects at once
- Requires 5 to 8 years of prior project management level experience.
- May provide management direction to team members during project life cycle
- Experience with ERP, Salesforce, Visio and ServiceNow are preferred
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile

- Demonstrable track record in delivering technological environments.
- Highly analytical in problem solving with the ability to apply original and innovative thinking
- A high level of oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with senior managers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Ability to research subjects, with a commitment to provide continuous improvement
- To work under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations in a logical manner
- To be flexible in approach and be comfortable with a fluid organizational structure that requires both teamwork and self-sufficiency as necessary, with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Formal project management knowledge running cross-functional and remote teams.
- Solid understanding of computing systems and leading IT technologies.
- Strong vendor management
- Solid understanding of SDLC and implementation best practices.
- Understanding of application development and integration requirements.
- Development of project plans and implementation.
- Proven track record executing projects in complex business environments
- Manufacturing experience a plus but not required
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-8+ years of experience in related project management
- PMP certifications or equivalent preferred
