The Senior Manager, Analytics will be responsible to collaborate with key stakeholders in defining and implementing corporate KPI / BU analytics strategy. The person in this role will drive execution & delivery of analytics via next generation analytics applications that will accelerate IFF's data driven decision-making capabilities, enabling self-service analytics, reducing time to insights, empowering colleagues to perform their jobs better, improving operational efficiency, competitive advantage and increasing sales and profits. This role also participates in the design and implementation of new technical solutions and tools and lead internal and inter-team development projects and initiatives.

The candidate should have a deep technical understanding of Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects/Lumira in addition to having experience with data modeling, optimization, data extraction, loading and, transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders in business and technology teams to define and implement corporate KPI / BU analytics strategy
• Implement Analytics framework to diffuse KPIs for various stakeholders from Global Senior leadership to local teams
• Influence and inspire change through the delivery of insights in a simple and compelling manner with various stakeholders.
• Develop high-quality presentations / deliverables that capture the storyline and big picture view of the strategy for various internal and external audiences
• Create and present data analytics strategies and roadmaps
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional project teams to implement data analytics solutions that accelerate IFF's data driven decision-making capabilities, improve operational efficiency, competitive advantage and increase sales and profits.
• Engage in ideation by researching data from various business units and external data sources to help identify new ways of using data to drive business benefits.
• Lead the design and development of innovative solutions to solve complex business and technology problems.
• Ensure data that is used for various analytics applications is modelled and maintained in a way that promotes quality, reuse, usability, consistency, accuracy, and maintainability.
• Secure ‘trusted’ analytics by creating transparent & well governed (advanced analytics) data processes, data platforms and data lakes.
• Identify and resolve data, technical issues and mediate business implications with efficiency, effectiveness and with consistently high quality.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Global Data Management team in the design, implementation, and documentation of solutions for daily issues/support, release management, and new projects.
• Design, build and implement automation solutions for application builds, testing and deployment for cloud services.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Global Data Management and Cloud teams to improve and optimize global infrastructure for Data Analytics applications and to provide high performance and scalable solutions to meet needs of the Global Users. Proactively evaluate the capacity and resource utilization of various Data Analytics services, storage, and security.

Job Requirements

• Strategic thinker who has expertise in collaborating with cross functional stakeholders to define and implement corporate KPI / BU analytics strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and influence a diverse group of global leaders across technology and business functions.
• 10+ years of experience in working with cross-functional project teams to implement data analytics solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in architecting data analytics applications including development of complete data analytics workflow, from data ingestion to data transformation to BI and analytics tools.
• 5+ years of experience in leading the implementation of SAP BI related projects. Strong knowledge of Sales and Distribution, Material Management (Supply Chain) and FICO modules.
• 5+ years of experience in managing teams with mix of employees and offshore consultants.
• 5+ years of experience with frontend reporting and dashboarding using Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects/Lumira or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Knowledge of various reporting techniques on top of data warehousing on SAP Analytics Cloud or Business Objects or Analysis for Office or in multiple tools.
• Expertise in designing Dimensional Data models.
• Expertise in building high performance analytics applications against very large databases, data warehouses, performance analysis and optimization and security concepts.
• Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse platforms like Redshift or Snowflake.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate strategic solutions to key stakeholders at the director and operational levels.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and motivating team members.

Desirable/Optional Skills

• Hands-on design and development experience with SAP BW and HANA.
• Experience with SalesForce.com, Oracle ERP.
